Expressions of interest sought for GMGY Lesson Sample Development Associates (Part-Time, Hourly) (Ref: 05.25)
Education and Training Boards Ireland (ETBI) is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified candidates to support the development of Goodness Me, Goodness You! (GMGY) support materials. We are seeking x4 part-time staff to develop lesson samples across each of the four strands and stages of the patrons’ curriculum.
Deliverables
Each associate will:
- Prepare x14 GMGY lesson samples on one or more of strands of the GMGY Curriculum across one or more stage (1-4). *A lesson in GMGY constitutes sustained period of learning and teaching.
- Design worksheets and other activities to accompany each lesson sample developed.
Applicants must (on the latest date for receipt of completed applications):
- Hold a relevant recognised degree or equivalent professional or teaching qualification
- Have deep knowledge and understanding of the Goodness Me, Goodness You! patrons’ curriculum and its philosophical underpinnings
- Have experience facilitating learning and teaching in GMGY
- Be familiar with the ethos of Community National Schools and the ETBI Patrons’ Framework on Ethos
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to write to a very high standard in English
- Have excellent inter-personal skills, and a well-developed ability to work as part of a team
- Have excellent organisational skills.
- Have good digital media skills.
- Have research skills including data gathering and recording, analysing and summarising
Desirable
- Have undertaken additional professional learning relating to GMGY or ETB school ethos
- Hold a post-graduate qualification relating to GMGY or ETB school ethos
Number of Hours Required for the Project: 90 hours per associate
Start and End Date: 24th February 2025 – 30th June 2025
